Module O2: Traffic Surveys and Modelling
Module Leader: Pieter Euser

Pieter Euser studied Traffic Engineering at the Noordelijke Hogeschool Leeuwarden and is now a lecturer at the Traffic Division of that same institution. His main areas are traffic surveys and transportation modelling.

Aim of the Module

To develop an understanding of data collection and traffic modelling techniques to facilitate the evaluation of changes in land use or transport networks.

  • Survey planning and management
  • Measuring volume speed
  • Origin - destination and route choice surveys
  • Trip generation surveys
  • Parking surveys
  • Data analysis
  • Transport models
  • Trip generation and distribution
